NRCU: Experience of North America in Implementing Unconventional Gas Development Projects conference to be held in Kyiv

The possibility of shale gas production is increasingly becoming a bone of contention between industrial companies and environmentalists. The United States has played a special role in the global shale gas revolution. Increased shale gas extraction in the country reduced prices and turned it from an importer to an exporter on the world energy markets. Therefore, shale gas supporters refer to its experience while opponents criticize it. However, the most contentious issues remain open. "There are also strong concerns about the so-called "fracking" method of shale gas extraction in the areas where such mining operations are planned. How is this done in the U.S.?
