TASS: South Stream to secure energy stability in Southeast, Central Europe
Gas project South Stream will guarantee energy stability in Southeast and Central Europe, Serbian Ambassador in Moscow Slavenko Terzic told a news conference on Tuesday.
“South Stream project was granted a status of national importance in Serbia,” the ambassador said. “We hope works on the project will begin as quickly as possible,” he added.
“The project is of national significance for us, the Serbian government considers it very important. All treaties with Russia were signed,” Terzic noted. “We are ready for cooperation, wait for our neighbours from Bulgaria, as they denied construction so far," he said.
