Times Live: (South Africa) West Coast Gas Can Incinerate Power Woes, Says City Council

The City of Cape Town intends to build a gas-fired power station to help insulate its residents and businesses from Eskom's programme of load-shedding.

 

According to Neilson, the city wanted a private company to build the station, which would supplement Eskom power to guarantee sufficient energy supply for residents.
