Press TV: Russia, Ukraine, EU to resume gas talks

Russia, Ukraine, and the European Union are set to hold a new round of talks, aimed at settling a long-running dispute over the price of gas deliveries, an official representative of Russia’s Energy Ministry has confirmed.

The source said on Sunday that the next round of trilateral negotiations will take place on Monday evening in the Belgian capital, Brussels.

Russia's Energy Minister Alexander Novak, his Ukrainian counterpart Yuri Prodan and the EU’s energy commissioner Guenther Oettinger will take part in the talks.

The parties have so far held two rounds of talks in order to prevent a possible halt in Russian gas supplies to Ukraine and subsequently to Europe.
