News 24 Nigeria: PDP Wants Government Clarity on NLNG Funds

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has asked the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) to stop misleading the country on the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Funds.
   
The party's National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, said successive government from President Olusegun Obasanjo never shared nor tampered with the cumulative dividends over the years, which had risen to a cumulative $5,6 billion.

“Our attention has been drawn to the misleading and outright falsehood by the APC. The truth is that the NLNG had been on a 10-year tax haven until 2014," Metuh said.
