EU Signs off Clean Energy Package

The EU Council of Ministers adopted a package of 'Clean Energy for All Europeans' legislation December 4, comprising directives on energy efficiency, renewables, and governance.

Three weeks ago the European Commission welcomed their adoption by the European Parliament; adoption by the EU Council was the final hurdle before they became law.
