ABC.az: Bad news for EU partners: its energy union ready to fragment markets in administrative way

The bad news continue appearing for traditional and new partners of the European Union: the latter begins to divide by forced way the energy markets between suppliers.

Logics, frankly speaking, is exceptionable. The idea demands serious investments, and is unlikely to reduce the cost of energy products for the EU, against the background of the expected fall of their domestic production in the Union. The idea also does not take into account the rise in transport costs relating to the diversification, as well as the cost of regulatory oppression in the EU. Let’s be honest, natural gas in the United States is 3-fold cheaper than in the EU, not because of the notorious "slates". The U.S. is bathing in cheaper energy products thanks to better market management. More liberal tax and investment regime, the soft administrative and environmental regulation has no alternative, if we talk about the commercialization of the markets (gas, nuclear energy, bio-fuel - no difference).

And we do not see in the EU the same movement to the liberal (even libertarian) market administration. On the contrary, the EU is moving by leaps and bounds to the Soviet administrative-command economy when the bureaucracy decides everything for markets, manufacturers, suppliers and even consumers.
