Ukrainian News Agency: Government Should Better Inform Ukrainian Population About Shale Gas - Dixi Group

The Dixi Group analytical center has said that the amount of information that the government provides to the Ukrainian population about shale gas is small.

Dixi Group's President Olena Pavlenko announced this at a press conference at the press center of the Ukrainian News information agency.

"So far, in Ukraine serious research and active information of the public are not being conducted... In fact, the level of information of the population does not mean that the level of support will increase. Informing the public is necessary in order to prevent erosion of public opinion and manipulation of public opinion.The better citizens are informed, the more adequate and calmer they will assess the situation involving extraction of shale gas," she said.  MORE
