Cyprus Mail: Israeli defence team here to discuss energy security .

A DELEGATION from the Israeli Defence Ministry arrived in Cyprus yesterday to hold talks with their Cypriot counterparts on energy security in the region, Defence Minister Fotis Fotiou said.

Speaking to state broadcaster CyBC, Fotiou said that both countries give huge importance to the issue of energy security.

“After the visit of the (Cypriot) President and my meeting with the Israeli defence minister in Tel Aviv, the foundations have been placed to begin this strategic dialogue on all issues, including the two countries’ efforts to exploit natural gas and energy security.  MORE
