Macauhub: Angola LNG Resumes Natural Gas Exports in First Quarter of 2016

Natural gas exports by the Angola LNG company will only resume in the first quarter of 2016, with gas processing starting in the fourth quarter of this year, the Angolan company said in a statement published in Luanda.

Natural gas processing was suspended on 10 April, 2014 due to a failure in one of the pipelines of the gas flaring system. The statement gave assurances that the incident did not cause any human or environmental damage and that the production stoppage had been extended to allow the contractor, US company Bechtel, to repair the faults and improve production capacity.
