Transerv Energy to Retest Warro-4 Gas Well

Transerv Energy has said it is preparing to retest Warro-4 gas well in Warro gas field is located in the Perth Basin, onshore Western Australia.

“The planning for retesting of Warro-4 is well advanced and the necessary applications and plans have been submitted to Government for approval.  The re-testing of Warro-4 should be underway in the second half of April,” the company said Tuesady.

Meanwhile both Warro-5 and 6 continue to flow naturally and the wells appear to have established a stable production trend and the joint venture is preparing to run a production log

According to Transerv, Warro-5 gas flow rate is presently averaging 0.42 mmcfd with an accompanying water rate of 165 bwpd while Warro-6 gas flow rate is presently averaging 0.53 mmcfd with an accompanying water rate of 210 bwpd.   

Warro is Australia’s biggest undeveloped onshore gas field, with a total estimated resource of 11.6 trillion cubic feet of gas initially in place.
