Chinese state-run Sinopec’s north China unit produced a record 4.74bn m³ of natural gas last year, the company said on January 13 without giving a year/year comparison.  

North China E&P Co is Sinopec’s main subsidiary, which supplies gas to Shandong, Henan and Inner Mongolia. The company’s headquarter is in Zhengzhou, Henan.  

Sinopec said in November that it expects to produce 30bn m³ of natural gas in 2020, up 1.1% yr/yr. It produced 6.7bn m³ of gas at its flagship Fuling gas field in 2020, up 6% yr/yr.
