Sinopec starts Hainan's 1st hydrogen station

Chinese state-run Sinopec last week commissioned the first hydrogen refuelling station in the island province of Hainan, it said on April 21.

The station has a hydrogen refuelling capacity of 500 kg/day. Sinopec said it plans to build 10 hydrogen refuelling stations in China's southernmost province in the next five years. The company will establish 1,000 hydrogen refuelling stations across China during the next five years, it announced last month. It broke ground on the Chongqing municipality's first commercial hydrogen refuelling station last week
