Nakilat signs engine maintenance contract with HSD Engine

Qatari state-owned shipping company Nakilat and Korea's HSD Engine have signed a long-term service agreement for the provision of spares and maintenance services necessary to maintain the reliability of engines onboard Nakilat’s LNG vessels, it said on March 22.

This agreement will further improve the operational efficiency of the vessels’ engines and contribute to the overall LNG fleet availability, Nakilat said. The company has a fleet of 74 vessels including 69 LNG carriers, four LPG carriers and one FSRU.
