LNG Project in China's Pingyao Ready for Operation

Shanxi Natural Gas Co and Pingyao Coal Chemical Group promoted LNG project in Pingyao in China's Shanxi province was completed recently, reported China Daily last week.

The LNG project is expected to produce 1.2 million cubic meters of LNG.

With a total investment of 680 million yuan ($109.23 million), the project consists of 62,336 feet of gas pipeline, an LNG plant and an auxiliary project, stated China Daily. During the second phase, the project will provide 288,000 tons of LNG.

The LNG project will reach average annual operating revenue of 981.27 million yuan ($157.69 million), average annual profit of 104.16 million yuan ($16.74 million).
