IOPTC Head: Iran Produces Gas Turbines
TEHRAN, May 5, IRNA – Managing Director of Iranian Oil Pipelines and Telecommunications Company (IOPTC) Abbassgholi Jaafari says Iranian companies are capable of manufacturing gas turbines.
Speaking to Shana on the sidelines of the 21st Iran Oil Show, Jaafari said indigenized machinery parts, precision tools and power systems will be produced in the coming years.
He said the gas turbines used to be provided from Europe and the US in the past but thanks to endeavors of Iranian manufacturers the country is now self-sufficient.
