CNPC ups output at Changqing oilfield

The Changqing oilfield produced 32.13mn metric tons of oil equivalent during the first six months of the year, up 4.42% year/year, the project's operator CNPC said in a statement on July 13.

The field produced 12.46mn mt of crude oil and 24.67bn m3 of natural gas. CNPC earlier this year said it expects oil and gas output in 2021 to reach 62mn mt of oil equivalent as against 60.83mn mt in 2020.
