China's gas output up 12% in Jan-Apr

China's natural gas output during the first four months of the year was 70.2bn m3, up 11.6% year/year, Xinhua reported on May 24 citing data from the National Bureau of Statistics.

The output rose 23.1% compared with the 2019 level. In April, China's natural gas output came in at 16.9bn m3, up 7% yr/yr, and the average daily production came in at 560mn m3.
