China's gas consumption up 17% in Jan-Apr

China's gas consumption during the first four months of the year was 122.01bn m3, up 16.8% year/year, the National Development and Reform Commission said on May 31.

The consumption in April was 29.37bn  m3, up 13.2% yr/yr. China’s natural gas imports via pipeline and in the form of LNG in January-April were up 22.4% yr/yr, the country's customs department said on May 7.
