The Changqing oilfield’s gas production during the first two months of this year was 8.42bn m³, up 8.2% year/year, the project's operator CNPC said in a statement on March 2.  

The highest daily output reached 150mn m³/day, a new record, it added. CNPC expects oil and gas output this year to reach 62mn metric tons of oil equivalent as against 60.83mn metric tons in 2020.
