Avenir Receives New LNG Tanker

UK-based vessel operator Avenir has taken delivery of Avenir Accolade, the second 7,500 m³ LNG bunkering and supply vessel from Keppel Offshore and Marine's shipyard in Nantong, China, it said March 10.

It will enter a three-year bareboat (uncrewed, unprovisioned) charter to LNG Power, a subsidiary of Hygo Energy Transition to support Hygo’s developments in Brazil, the first South American positioning for an Avenir vessel. The Accolade will be capable of unloading LNG directly into trucks for onward distribution across Brazil.
