Graphic Online: VRA Eyes Power From Imported LNG (Ghana)

The Volta River Authority (VRA) is in discussions with foreign producers of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to get them to supply the product to fuel their plants to generate sufficient power.

The Head of Business Development of VRA, Mr Kofi Ellis, told GRAPHIC BUSINESS in an interview in Accra that: “We need to do it well because the LNG supplier produces that commodity at a high cost. So, he or she wants to be sure that whoever is taking it doesn’t come for it and say tomorrow that I don’t need it again.”
