TAP Consults on Draft Network Code

Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) said August 7 it is launching a consultation process on its draft TAP Network Code.

This will set out the principles and rules governing the access to, plus use and operation of, the TAP pipeline; it is also a requirement from the European Union.

Stakeholders are invited to comment on the draft code between now and September 18 at 6pm Central European Time; the relevant documents and annexes are available here.

TAP head of commercial matters Marija Savova said: “While pipeline construction activities continue, TAP is intensely preparing for the start of commercial operations in 2020. Establishing a TAP Network Code is an important milestone that is part of this process. We look forward to receiving input from all interested third parties.” It is also working closely with regulators in Greece, Albania and Italy - its host countries.
