Output at CNPC's Huabei Oilfield hits 30-year high

The oil and gas output at Huabei Oilfield in Shanxi province exceeded 6mn metric tons of oil equivalent in 2022, the highest in 30 years, the project operator CNPC said on January 9.

CNPC said it had focused on ramping up natural gas production at Huabei Oilfield. The annual production capacity exceeded 2.1bn m3, and the daily gas production exceeded 6mn m3.
