Oman LNG pens LNG supply deal with Turkey's Botas

Oman LNG has signed a 10-year LNG supply agreement with Turkey's Botas, the company announced on April 19 via social media platform X.

Under the terms of the deal, Oman LNG will supply 1mn tonnes/year of LNG to the Turkish state-owned energy company. The LNG supply will start in 2025.

This agreement with Botas represents Oman LNG's third supply deal in the past week, following successful agreements with Japan's Jera and global energy giant Shell.

Oman LNG is primarily owned by the government of Oman with a 51% stake, alongside ownership shares held by Shell (30%), Total (5.4%), Kogas (5%), and various Japanese and Omani firms holding stakes under 3%.
