Last month, the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public Health sponsored a conference on the health impacts from Marcellus Shale gas extraction, with speakers from a range of disciplines.  Residents have worried that the drilling is putting their health at risk by exposing them to toxic chemicals, air pollution, and noise. Some have gone beyond worrying, charging that they or people they know who live near drilling sites have been sickened by polluted well water or airborne exposures.   HERE
