Massy Wood signs contract with Shell in Trinidad and Tobago

Wood, through its joint venture company Massy Wood, has secured a five-year framework agreement with Shell for the delivery of engineering projects and asset support in Trinidad and Tobago, it said on March 19.

The framework agreement will enable Massy Wood to provide services to support Shell's onshore and offshore assets. These services include turnaround support for mature brownfield assets and assistance in the implementation of new greenfield projects.

“This agreement is a strategic achievement for our team in Trinidad, solidifying Massy Wood as the front-runner of asset integrity in the region,” said Steve Nicol, executive president, operations at Wood.

Shell's presence in Trinidad and Tobago encompasses operations across seven offshore and onshore blocks. The company last November issued a limited notice to proceed to McDermott International for an engineering, procurement, construction, and installation contract for the Manatee gas field development project
