Galilee starts drilling Glenaras 27 well in Queensland

Sydney-listed Galilee Energy on May 24 announced that Silver City Rig 23 has started drilling the third well in the current five-well programme at the Glenaras gas project in Queensland.

The Glenaras 27 well has successfully drilled to the surface casing depth of 200 m. All surface casing has now been run into the well with cementing operations about to commence. The drilling of Glenaras 27 has been delayed due to a second rain event last week, the company said.
