FueLNG completes 1000 LNG trucking operations in Singapore

FueLNG has completed 1000 LNG trucking operations in Singapore, it said on June 23 in a LinkedIn post. These operations include truck-to-ship bunkering of tugs and offshore vessels, as well as truck-to-industry operations for industrial customers and LNG-powered vehicles.

The company completed around 440 truck-to-ship and truck-to-industry operations in 2021. “FueLNG is committed to providing safe, cost-efficient and reliable solutions in LNG through truck-to-ship and ship-to-ship bunkering, and truck-to-industry operations,” it said.

FueLNG, a joint venture between Keppel Offshore & Marine and Shell, is also focusing on ship-to-ship LNG loading operations in Singapore. In January this year, FueLNG said it will this year start providing LNG bunkers to five LNG-fuelled Newcastlemax bulk carriers which have been chartered by Australia’s BHP to transport iron ore between Western Australia and China. This is part of BHP’s first LNG bunker supply agreement with Shell.

FueLNG is the only provider of ship-to-ship bunkering in Singapore.
