Chiyoda secures technical services contract for Donggi-Senoro LNG

Japanese engineering company Chiyoda Corporation has been awarded a technical service contract by Donggi-Senoro LNG (DSLNG), it said on December 11.

The agreement covers three years, encompassing engineering, technology, and process safety support for the DSLNG-owned LNG plant. Chiyoda's newly established O&M-X solutions division will spearhead the project, leveraging its expertise to ensure safe and stable operation of the plant.

DSLNG liquefies natural gas from the Senoro-Toili and Matindok blocks in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. The project produces approximately 2mn tonnes/year of LNG, delivered on long-term contracts to Jera, Kogas, and Kyushu Electric Power.

The project is a joint venture formed by Pertamina, Medco, and Sulawesi LNG Development – a collaboration between Mitsubishi and Kogas.
