China's natural gas consumption up 7% in January-September
China's natural gas consumption increased by 7% year/year in the January-September period, reaching 288.75bn m3, state-owned Xinhua news agency reported on November 14 citing data from the National Development and Reform Commission.
This growth was driven by a 5.8% year/year increase in apparent consumption in September alone, which reached 29.61bn m3. China's natural gas output also increased by 5.7% year/year in the January-August period, reaching 152.1bn m3.
