WorleyParsons Gets QGC Contract

WorleyParsons has been awarded a new engineering and project management agreement with QGC for three years with options for two additional one year terms, it said February 5.

The Shell-operated QGC venture is located in Queensland and is Australia’s leading natural gas producer, focused on developing onshore gas reserves in the Surat Basin of southern Queensland. QGC produces natural gas to supply the Australian domestic market and for export as LNG via our two-train LNG liquefaction plant on Curtis Island in Queensland.

Under the agreement WorleyParsons will provide engineering, procurement, construction management and project management services to support QGC across the upstream and midstream facilities from the Surat Basin to Curtis Island.
