Woodside Restarts Production at Pluto

Australian Woodside has restarted production at its Pluto LNG plant, it said June 24.

"Woodside advises that it has successfully completed additional work at Pluto LNG and has restarted LNG production," it said. Earlier this month, Woodside had extended planned maintenance schedule at its Pluto LNG plant owing to technical issues during the restart.

Woodside had made arrangements to meet obligations to its customers, including the purchase of third party cargoes.

Due to the turnaround extension, the company expects its 2019 production to be at the lower end of the 88 – 94mn boe guidance range. The extension comes at a time of depressed spot prices.
