Woodside CEO Peter Coleman to retire on June 3

Woodside CEO Peter Coleman has agreed to retire on June 3, the company said on April 13. This follows the announcement in December of Coleman’s intention to retire from Woodside in 2021. 

Coleman will step down from the company board on April 19 and will continue to work with Woodside until the date of his retirement. Meg O’Neill, Woodside’s executive vice president of development and marketing, will be appointed acting CEO from April 20.

O’Neill joined Woodside in May 2018 from ExxonMobil where she held a variety of senior leadership roles in operations and developments and country leadership in Norway and Canada.
