Vitol ends Russian energy trade: press

Global commodities trader Vitol is planning to end the trade of all Russian crude oil and products by the end of the year, a source told CNN on April 13.

The company will also not enter into any new Russian crude and product transactions, according to the news agency.

While Vitol is yet to confirm it is scaling back Russian trade, its rival Glencore publicly confirmed on March 30 it would not enter into any new trading business for Russian commodities, although it will honour its existing contracts.
