Vintage reports "highly successful" results from Odin-1

Australia’s Vintage Energy on November 24 said that the flow test programme for Odin-1 well in Cooper basin is nearly complete, with “highly successful” results to date.

The first stage of the Odin-1 flow test delivered a flow rate of 6.5mn ft3/day. After this stage, the well was shut-in for 15 days, with the second stage of the flow test restarting on November 18.

The Odin-1 well is currently shut-in, with downhole pressure gauges installed to record pressure build-up over a four-day period. The Odin gas discovery is close to the Vali gas field discovery and is expected to add substantial gas production volumes to Vintage's gas portfolio, the company said.

Vintage is the operator of PRL 211 and holds 42.5% interest, Metgasco owns 21.25%, Bridgeport 21.25% and Impress 15%.
