Malaysian LNG Exports Rise 7.5% in November

The value of Malaysian LNG exports during November 2017 grew 7.5% as exports rose in volume, the country’s department of statistics said earlier this month. LNG exports – which contributed 4.2% to total exports – grew ringgit 243.7mn ($61.42mn) or 7.5% to ringgit 3.5bn owing to the increase in export volume (8.7%) although the average unit value dropped 1.1%, the department said.

During January-November period, value of LNG exports was ringgit 36.38bn compared with 28.82bn during the same period of 2016.
