Ukrainian Storage Slips

The amount of gas in Ukrainian storage ended November at 16.3bn m³, compared with last November's 16.2bn m³ at the same time of year. Injections had been continuing longer into autumn this year than last year so a sizeable advantage had been built up.

However, this is now almost gone and Naftogaz Ukrainy data suggests that this year's inventory will be down on last year's in a few weeks' time.

As of November 9 there was 400mn m³ more in storage this year than at the same date last year. Naftogaz said that it was confident that there would be enough supplies to last the winter.
