UK Names New OGA Chair

The UK government has appointed an interim chair of the country's upstream regulator, the Oil and Gas Authority (OGA), for 12 months until March 31 2019.

Frances Morris-Jones was named April 11 by OGA as its new chair. She has served on its board as a non-executive director since October 2015 and has over 35 years’ experience in the energy sector, including with BP, ConocoPhillips and DNV GL. She replaces Patrick Brown whose chairmanship ended last month, after three years.
