UK Ancala Midstream Fills Senior Posts

UK offshore infrastructure operator Ancala Midstream Acquisitions has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Eric Marston as COO and Nick Harrison as CFO, it said November 13. They have over 50 years relevant experience between them.

Ancala Midstream in September landed the Zennor-operated Finlaggan gas processing business and in July it bought out Malaysian Petronas' 50% ownership stake in the UK Dragon LNG import terminal.

It has grown its inventory of contracted gas volumes since taking operatorship of the St Fergus Sage system, delivery point for Britannia gas, among others. Sage now transports and processes gas from over 40 fields across the UK and Norwegian sectors of the North Sea.

CEO Jim Halliday said he was "delighted to welcome Eric and Nick to the Ancala Midstream team. They bring a wealth of oil and gas industry experience."

They join CCO Angela Fletcher and senior business analyst Nick Ridley.  Marston has over 30 years’ industry experience, having previously worked with the offshore regulator Oil & Gas Authority and BP. Harrison has over 25 years’ experience working for Anglo-Dutch Shell, Canadian producer Talisman and Spanish Repsol/Sinopec.
