Turkmenistan Gas Output Rises in 2011

Natural gas output in Turkmenistan in 2011 has surpassed the planned production level. The country produced over 131,000 tons of liquefied natural gas compared to the planned 130,000 tons, gas condensate output was 78,900 tons, which is 5,000 tons more than the planned figure.

Nayip complex in the east of the country accounts for the substantial part of output. LNG installation built by Italy's  Technofrigo and Canada's Termodesign Engineering Ltd are operating there.

Natural fuel is received for processing to industrial units from dozens of operational wells drilled on the fields of Naip, Kirpichli, Beurdeshik, Balkui, and Gazlydepe.

In 2011, gas processing complex was created on the Bagadj field. Another plant with processing capacity of one billion cubic meters of gas per year was recently commissioned close to the existing installation.
