Transerv Energy to Start Drilling for Gas in Warro Field in Australia's Perth Basin

Transerv Energy is ready to commence drilling of the Warro-5 and 6 wells at the onshore Warro gas field in Perth Basin, Australia.

Since the last update, the Warro Joint Venture has executed Access Agreements with both Landowners on whose land the wells are located, the company announced on Friday.

In addition, the Joint Venture has contracted many of the critical services required for the operations. Key among these is the well stimulation services which will be carried out by Condor Energy, an Australian company with substantial Cooper Basin experience.

Transerv stated that the Enerdrill-3 rig is now fully operational with AWE announcing the commencement of their drilling operations in the Perth Basin.

The Warro wells will follow on immediately after the AWE operations which AWE indicate will encompass three wells.

The Warro gas field is contained within EP 407 and EP 321 onshore in the Perth Basin. The field is located approx. 200 km north of Perth and 31 km east of both the Dampier-Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline (DBNGP) and the Dongara-Perth Parmelia Pipeline (PP).
