Transerv Commences Drilling of Warro-6 Well in Western Australia

Transerv Energy on Monday said it commenced drilling Warro-6 well at the Warro gas field in Western Australia on Oct 30.

The well has encountered strong gas shows in a number of sandstone units below 13,606 feet (4,147 meters) RT and continues to experience significant, elevated gas readings in the sands to its present depth 14,393 feet (4,387 meters) which is 230 feet (70 meters) below the lowest known gas in previous Warro wells, the company said.

Warro-6 is being drilled vertically to a planned total depth of approximately 14,764 feet (4,500 meters) RT. The well is located 1.7 miles (2.7 kilometers) to the north of Warro-5 and 1 mile (1.7 kilometers) of Warro 3 and 4.
