TotalEnergies offloads Russian oil asset
TotalEnergies has sold its 20% stake in the Kharyaga oilfield in Russia to the project's operator Zarubezhneft, pending approval by Russian authorities, the French major reported on July 6.
The company said in late March it would "gradually suspend" its activities in Russia, in light of Moscow's invasion of Ukraine. It sold a previous 20% interest in Kharyaga to Zarubezhneft in 2016, while also transferring operatorship of the project to the Russian company.

TotalEnergies did not say how much the transaction was worth.
