Titan Energy to Spud Perth Basin Well

Titan Energy is expected to spud its Warradarge-1 exploration well in the north Perth Basin that targets the proven Cadda Formation and Cattamarra Coal measures on March 20.

Warradarge-1 will be drilled to a total depth of 1,500 metres and will collect formation cutting samples and use modern downhole data acquisition tools during drilling to assess the conventional and unconventional hydrocarbon potential within this section of the DR 11 permit, Proactive Investors said in reporty.

DR 11 is located 10 kilometres west of the Woodada gas field and 20 kilometres northwest of the recent Arrowsmith-2 unconventional gas discovery.

Approval is also being sought for the drilling of the Warradarge-2 exploration well, Proactive Investors said.
