Thailand's Nong Fab terminal starts bringing LNG ashore
The Nong Fab regasification terminal in Thailand has started offloading its first LNG from a carrier, contractor Saipem reported on June 24.
The PTT-operated facility will be capable of importing 7.5mn metric tons/year of LNG, and also comprises two 250,000-m3 LNG storage tanks and a 6-km trestle unloading unit.
The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) NGC’s HSSE strategy is reflective and supportive of the organisational vision to become a leader in the global energy business.
Saipem and its joint venture partner CTCI Corp began construction in 2018. Full commissioning is expected to take place this year, providing Thailand with additional energy supply to meet rising power demand.
