Thai PTT Could Participate in Vladivostok LNG Project

Thai state owned energy firm PTT may participate in a LNG project in Vladivostok, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov said Wednesday, reported Sputnik.

The project has been delayed due to sanctions on certain technology exports to Russia.

Manturov also stated that Gazprom may participate in the construction of a pipeline connecting Thailand’s shelf fields to its internal regions.

“Specifically, projects such as Gazprom’s participation in the construction of a gas pipeline connecting Thailand’s shelf fields with the internal regions of the country, and PTT’s participation in the construction and exploitation of a liquefied natural gas plant in Vladivostok could be very interesting,” Sputnik quoted Manturov as saying at a Russian-Thai committee meeting on bilateral cooperation in Moscow.
