Thailand’s Gulf Energy Development November 2 signed a cooperation agreement to develop a 6 GW gas-based power plant and a 6mn metric tons/year LNG import terminal in Vietnam’s Ninh Thuan province, the company said November 4 in a stock exchange filing.

The agreement was signed by Gulf Energy and Ninh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee on sidelines of the Asean Summit that took place in Bangkok.
