Texas midstreamer acquires Haynesville assets

Clearfork Midstream, a Texas-based midstream company created in 2020, said January 19 it had entered into a definitive agreement to purchase Azure Midstream Energy, which has gas gathering and treatment capacity in the Haynesville shale region spanning parts of Louisiana and Texas.

Acquisition price was not released, although Clearfork said it was supported by a $400mn capital commitment from EnCap Flatrock Midstream, which manages about $9bn of commitments from a range of investors.
