TechnipFMC to support Nigerian projects

Nigeria's upstream regulatory commission, NUPRC, has granted a preliminary award to Technip FMC to purchase subsea operational equipment, Technip FMC said on April 21.

NUPRC has commissioned a pilot purchase of TechnipFMC's configure-to-order technology platform, Subsea 2.0, which includes subsea trees to control hydrocarbon output, manifolds to divert oil and gas flows and other crucial subsea components.

Technip FMC said: "This pilot approval is a significant milestone in our relationship with Nigerian operators, and we look forward to supporting their oil and gas operations with our revolutionary configure-to-order platform."
